UP UNTIL September 7, Welshpool Town Council is consulting on the new Welshpool Town and Community Plan.

The plan will set the programme, policies and activities of the council for the period 2017 to 2022.

And there is an invitation to get involved as your views will shape the final plan going forward.

A copy of the plan and the survey can be found on the council’s website at or a hard copy can be obtained from the Tourist Information Centre.

All village and town residents who use Welshpool as their centre and wish to make comments may do so either online or by calling at the Tourist Information Centre.

There will also be a drop-in day to see the plan in Welshpool, Belan and Pool Quay.

A booklet will be delivered to every home in Welshpool in the next two weeks and the booklet will be in the Tourist Information Centre as well.

n If there are any groups who would like to discuss the plan with the town clerk please let them know by calling 01938 553142 or email
