THE MOTHER of Tracy Kearns has paid tribute to her daughter, describing her as "like a sister."

The body of the 43-year-old from Kinmel Bay was found on Saturday, May 13 following a search. The mum-of-two had been missing since May 7.

Tracy's mum Eileen said: "Tracy was a wonderful mother who adored her children. We were very close; she was like a sister to me.

"She had a bubbly personality and was a real good laugh. She will be missed by us all.”

Tracy's partner Anthony Bird, 48, will go on trial in November at Mold Crown Court. Bird is charged with the murder of Tracy.

A book of condolences has been opened at Asda supermarket in Kinmel Bay, where Tracy used to work.
