22-year-old woman taken to hospital following domestic assault in Prestatyn

A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a domestic assault in Prestatyn. 

The incident happened last night at about 10.30pm, at the junction of High Street and the alleyway next to the NatWest bank and Ginger's Grills.

The 22-year-old victim has been released from Glan Clwyd Hospital following treatment to her injuries. A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody in at St Asaph.

DS Dave Mills, of North Wales Police, said; “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the assault."
