A man has been charged with stealing two shotguns during a house burglary.

The case against Jordan Daniel Chandramohan, of Moorfields, Holywell, was sent to the crown court when he appeared at Flintshire Magistrates Court at Mold yesterday.

It is alleged he stole two 12 bore shotguns, along with other items including an iPad and a money box, from a house at Tros y Maes Villas in Brynford Street, Holywell, on September 29.

He is also charged with burglaries at two houses in Yr Aber, Holywell, on June 23 and August 18 last year.

Gary Harvey, defending, indicated not guilty pleas and Chandramohan, 24, was bailed pending his appearance at Mold Crown Court next month.

He is not to approach named witnesses or enter the area where the burglaries occurred.

Magistrates heard the stolen shotguns had not been recovered.
